Please note for health & safety reasons hoodies should not be worn when riding at PC events

Back to Events

Please remember to be polite and well-mannered when you are at Pony Club activities as we want everyone, including the instructors, to enjoy themselves.

If you are unhappy about any aspect of branch activities, please speak to Michelle, our DC, so that we can address any issues as soon as possible.

Our Branch has an excellent reputation for the high standard of turnout.  It's important that we keep this up at rallies.

Hats must be of current specification. If your hat hasn't been tagged, please ask our District Commissioner Michelle. Click here for new regulations for riding hats from 2015

Jackets - Hacking or Show jacket with PC badge on left lapel. Sweatshirts may be worn instead of a jacket at games rallies.

Shirt & tie - white collared shirt with a PC tie

Gloves, beige jodhpurs & riding boots.

Half chaps may be worn, but must be brown or black.

Girls with long hair must wear a hair net. No jewellery should be worn.

Ponies must be clean & tidy

Tack must be correctly fitting & clean. Numnahs & girths must be plain white, black, brown or navy with no additional piping or logos.

Body protectors must be worn for cross country & pony racing (BETA 2009 level 3 standard) but we recommend that body protectors are worn for all jumping activities.

If a rider chooses to wear an air jacket it must only be used in addition to a normal body protector and must not be worn under a jacket.
